TnC IPTV Player — Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-20

By downloading, installing, or using TnC IPTV Player ("the App"), you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and stop using it.

1. What the App is

The App is a generic, Bring-Your-Own-Playlist Xtream Codes / IPTV player for iPhone, Android phones and tablets, Android TV, and Fire TV. It does not host, supply, transcode, broadcast, curate, or sell any media content. All channels, movies, series, posters, and EPG data are fetched from the server URL you enter at sign-in.

2. You supply the content

You are solely responsible for:

The App developer has no relationship with any IPTV provider, does not endorse any provider, and cannot verify the legality of any particular playlist. If your provider distributes content without authorisation, that is between you and the rights holders — using this App does not grant you any rights to that content.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. Demo content

The "Try Demo" option inside the App uses publicly available test streams hosted by Mux (test-streams.mux.dev) and royalty-free poster artwork. It is provided "as is" for evaluation only, with no guarantee of availability or quality, and may change at any time.

5. Updates

Builds distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store receive updates only through their respective store. Builds distributed outside those stores (the Android GitHub Releases and Amazon Appstore builds) include an in-app update checker that contacts api.github.com to compare version numbers and fetch the new APK; by using those builds you authorise the App to install updates after your explicit confirmation.

6. No warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. The developer does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or that any particular IPTV provider will continue to function.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App, including but not limited to losses arising from the content shown by a provider you supplied. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it and uninstall it.

8. Third-party software

The App is built on open-source libraries. On Android: AndroidX Media3 (ExoPlayer), OkHttp, Kotlin Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, Hilt, Room, and others. On iOS: AVFoundation / AVPlayer, URLSession, and SwiftUI (all first-party Apple frameworks). Use of those components is governed by their respective licences (Apache 2.0 unless noted otherwise; Apple frameworks under their SDK licence). Acknowledgements are shown inside the App's Settings → About area.

9. Privacy

The App's data-handling practices are described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised from time to time. The revised version will be published at the same URL, with the "Last updated" date above changed. Material changes will also be called out in the App's release notes. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. The developer may also stop publishing or supporting the App at any time without notice; existing installations will continue to function for as long as your provider does.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
